The Steam Store's annual winter sale in now live, running from December 21st to January 4th. This type of sale comes every year and almost every game on the store is on sale for extremely cheap prices or when it comes to newer releases, slight discounts.

SEGA's New Revivals

Brand new games in long unused and lesser know SEGA franchises are coming back with full on reboots and sequels. These franchises include Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage and Crazy Taxi with more plans remaining unrevealed as of now. This appears to be new push for SEGA, wanting to bring back their legacy IPs in familiar and new ways for audiences now that the video game market has allowed for more experimental releases to flourish. SEGA of America CEO, Shuji Utsumi has stated they wish to return to the rebellious energy of SEGA back during the Dreamcast era when they still made consoles. The possibility of these games happening is in thanks to the success of the Sonic, Like a Dragon (Yakuza), and Atlus' Persona series across the recent years helping the company stay afloat. With these new games and the tease of more, the future of SEGA looks more positive than ever.
